Blair High School Visit

Monday morning I visited Blair High School.

The interest in the Fairchild Challenge was obvious, and I look forward to receiving the school's registration form. I can tell from the student artwork that was scattered throughout the room these kids can create some spot-on submissions.

Thanks for the visit, Blair Vikings.

Aveson Global Leadership Acadeny

Monday, November 28, started with a visit to the Aveson Global Leadership Academy in Pasadena. As I talked about the challenges, I could tell the middle school kids were chafing at the bit to be included. I assured them next school year the middle school challenges will be up and ready to go.

I am hopeful those Aveson Global Leadership Academy high school leaders will model for the younger kids just how a challenge is taken on and completed with quality products.

Many thanks to AGLA for having me on campus. Send in that registration form and let the creating begin.

WELCOME TO SCHOOL YEAR 2011-2012!

Here’s a shout out to Temple City High School, our first Fairchild Challenge school for this year! Bring on those projects.

South Pasadena High School and CIS Academy in Pasadena invited me to speak to teachers, an administrator and, yay!, students. I enjoyed meeting everyone, especially those folks who helped me find my way around the schools. I know these schools’ registration forms are in the mail.

Let the thinking creatively about our environment begin.
